Project: Innovation commercialisation in the S3 area of the company CROTEH

Project description

CROTEH d.o.o. concluded a Grant Agreement Number KK.03.2.2.06.0135 for the implementation of the Project Innovation Commercialisation in the S3 Area of the Company CROTEH with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG BICRO).

As part of this project, the company CROTEH d.o.o. intends to innovate the existing business organization and the production process in order to commercialize innovative technology for biogas production from hard-to-degrade lignocellulosic substrates, continue positive business flow by investing in human resources, and increase revenue.

The project is worth 2,383,617.07 HRK, and the total eligible project costs amount to 2,114,750.14 HRK. The grants awarded amount to 1,072,466.90 HRK. The foreseen project duration is 24 months.

The project is implemented from August 09, 2020, to August 09, 2022

The general goal of the project

The general goal of the project is to support investments of SMEs whose business activity is focused on the production and commercialisation of innovative products/services that are new to the market and that can be applied and classified in one or more of the S3 thematic priority areas.

Project purpose (specific objectives)

  • Establish an innovative production process in the CROTEH laboratory
  • Commercialise innovative technology for biogas production from hard-to-degrade lignocellulosic substrates
  • Successfully innovate business processes and business organisation
  • Increase the competitiveness of CROTEH and its sustainable growth and development
  • Increase revenue from the company sale following the commercialisation of innovative solutions

Expected deliverables of the project

  • Successfully established innovative production process in the CROTEH laboratory
  • Successfully implemented commercialisation of innovative technology for biogas production from hard-to-degrade lignocellulosic substrates
  • Successfully implemented innovations in business processes and business organisation
  • Successful independent project audit/review/assurance?
  • Fully met information and visibility requirements binding the User under the Agreement
  • Successfully implemented project, and administrative tasks executed correctly, without any delays, and with efficiently used human, time and financial resources

Expected deliverables of the project: increase in the sales revenue, preserving the number of the existing jobs, increase in the number of employees – the creation of new job opportunities

  • The project is worth HRK 2,383,617.07 (EUR 316,360.35).
  • The total eligible project costs amount to HRK 2,114,750.14 (EUR 280,675.58)
  • The EU co-financing amounts to HRK 1,072,466.90 (EUR 142,340.82).
