The CROTEH Ltd. company (Center for the Development of Sustainable Technologies) was founded in 2015 in Zagreb.
- CROTEH is a development and design company in the field of design, engineering, and development of technologies for processing and energy utilization of biodegradable materials and waste, as well as municipal and industrial wastewater.
- CROTEH consists of experts with knowledge and experience in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development, that is, in the fields of design and engineering, supervision, management of accredited laboratories, preparation of various studies, and management of projects.
- As part of CROTEH, there is also a laboratory that conducts tests of the biogas production process and determines biogas potential, as well as the analysis and characterization of biodegradable waste materials.
- The implementation of analyses of the biogas potential of organic materials forms the foundation that ensures "tailored design" of efficient and sustainable technologies in the field of biodegradable municipal waste management, as well as waste from the food industry and agriculture.
- The principle of CROTEH's work is to provide the client with a complete service, from the field sampling to the construction of the plant.
